  • Assist immediate supervisor on the implementation of compliance risk management within an organization, and ensuring compliance programs throughout the organization are effective;
  • Participate in the formation of compliance risk management plan within the team in promoting strong compliance culture as well as operational resilience so as to support the department’s agenda, organization’s vision, mission and corporate values;
  • Implementation of compliance risk initiatives and ongoing activities for compliance unit including other stakeholders (s) as may be identified to serve future needs; and
  • Implementation of effective compliance risk management measures in the bank, which include compliance risk self-assessment and appointment of compliance representative in the respective business and support unit;
  • Conduct internal compliance risk review and monitoring activities, including periodic compliance risk assessment in the Bank;

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Laws or equivalent
  • Preferably Assistant Manager/ Manager specializing in Bank Regulatory & Compliance Management  
  • In-depth experience in compliance risk assessment methodology, formulating and executing compliance review plans, conducting compliance training and awareness to all line of defense
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory standards specifically on FSA 2013, FEA Notices, FATCA, CRS and PDPA.
  • Required language(s): English & Mandarin (reporting to China/ HK counterparts) 
  • Good stakeholder management skills
