Requirements

  • Must be a Malaysian
  • Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA or partially qualified or currently pursing professional examinations are encouraged to apply
  • A member of a recognized professional accounting body (i.e. MIA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA AUSTRALIA, MICPA)
  • Self motivated, pro-active and with strong analytical qualities, results oriented and capable to trouble shoot and resolve work problem effectively
  • Excellent analytical  mindset and possess leadership qualities
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and  to meet deadlines
  • Assume high level of responsibilities and commitment in audit advisory and compliances
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong drive to excel professionally and ability to guide and motivate team members
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging workloads
  • Thorough knowledge of the entire audit process and familiarity with IFRS, MFRS,MPERS and audit standards
  • Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Undertake special assignment on ad-hoc basis

 

Responsibilities

  • To manage audit clientele portfolio and plan, delegate and liaise with clients on all aspects of audit assignments
  • You will lead and manage the engagement team on audit assignments of a portfolio of clients in various industries
  • You will guide and mentor your team members and review their work to ensure high quality, accurate and efficient results
  • Liaise and report to Audit Manager and/or Partners on progress of work and report on critical issues 
  • To review audit reports, identify issues, presentations on audit findings and recommendations as well as conducting appropriate follow up actions and meeting tight deadlines
  • Ensure audit is carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards
  • Supervise and guide the junior audit team to carry out audit assurance assignments
