This is an established group of companies listed in the main board. The group's business activities ranging from insurance and financial service to IT activities across Malaysia.
Currently they are seeking to recruit a corporate secretarial professional who is reliable with humble and proactive approach to assume the role of CorporateĀ  Secretarial Executive.
Roles & Responsibilities
The position is reporting to the Company Secretary.
As Corporate Secretarial Executive, you will support the Company Secretary in providing corporate secretarial and governance administration to the group, thereby ensuringĀ  statutory compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and Securities Commission. You will be part of a small but busy team undertaking company secretarial duties in a commercial environment.
Scope of roles and responsibilities.
Ensure statutory compliance across the subsidiary companies by maintaining corporate records and information.
Prepare statutory information for filing at the Securities Commission.
Manage the company secretarial compliance work for a PLC and its group of companies.
Support and manage corporate secretarial matters and compliance with statutory requirements.
Support and manage Board and committee meetings for a portfolio of subsidiaries on matthersĀ  such as organizing board meetings, preparing and circulating board papers, reports,minutes and announcements.
Requirements: Candidate profile.
-ICSA (graduate or part qualified finalist) or Corporate Management.
-Some corporate secretarial experience gained, preferably in PLC environment.
-Demonstrated company secretarial experience within insurance,financial services would be ideal.
-Experience managing subsidiary entities would be an advantage.
-Sound interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
-Good command of English, verbal and written.
-Pleasant disposition with humble approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
