The manager, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) will set the vision for developing and executing Sealy Sofa Convertible’s direct-to-consumer strategy. This role comes with ownership over Direct-to-Consumer P&L, growth strategy, and customer experience. This candidate must have a proven track record of running successful direct-to-consumer businesses that maintained significant year-over-year growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with various internal departments while reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
Develop & execute Sealy Sofa Convertibles direct-to-consumer strategy to hit top-line revenue and profitability goals. Maintain ownership of DTC P&L. Set the vision for DTC.
Drive both growth and channel optimization for customer acquisition and customer conversion. Explore new strategies for growing traffic and online sales.
Guide digital product initiatives by setting a clear roadmap and work with the development team on timely execution.
Acts as a project manager and business manager to evaluate, prioritize, manage, implement and help launch the e-commerce store.
Help manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
Select and manage various technology vendor relationships.
Work towards generating traffic to our websites from search engine listings.
Responsible for researching and defining keyword targets to generate incremental traffic. Will leverage analytics to review and analyze trends. Work towards optimizing web properties for search engines.
Manage and maintain daily and monthly PPC spends for each campaign that will meet expected key performance metrics.
Build the team and capabilities needed to set the direct business up for future success.
5+ years of strong e-commerce and digital marketing experience: website optimization (on-line shopping journey, optimizing content); Search and display; eCRM / email/database acquisition strategies.
Experience leading in a commercial sales and marketing environment, with a blend of e-commerce and traditional retail experience.
Ability to think big picture strategy yet have a keen sense of tactical execution of the e-commerce retail-scape. Appreciation of aesthetics, design sensibilities, the consumer journey, empathy, and how these interact with the overall experience on web + mobile for e-commerce and other channels.
Proven delivery of sales with a premium brand.
Can credibly understand and lead retail infrastructure, e.g., logistics, warehousing, supporting IT platforms, etc.
Operational Knowledge of E-commerce Platforms (Shopify/WIX/Magento Commerce),
Ecommerce Marketplaces (AMAZON & EBAY), Social Media Dashboards
(Hootsuite/Buffer App), Google Analytics/Adwords, MailChimp/Constant Contact, CMS (WordPress/Magento), CRM (Salesforce).
Successful experience working across the spectrum of strategic to execution, and comfortable with hands-on delivery.
