Front Office Manager

Batu Ferringhi, Penang, MY

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest relations are maintained at the highest possible standard
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently  
  • Ability to develop and maintain guest history programme in providing consistent guest recognition
  • Knowledge in rostering to ensure staffing level in line with occupancy
  • Able to train, supervise and support office team, including receptionists, concierge and telephone operators
  • Able to develop and maintain an active on job training programme within the Front Office department to achieve a satisfactory level of functional efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Be familiar with all emergency procedures – fire, evacuation, loss and damage, accidents, medical emergency
  • Ensure company's SOPs and Audit requirements are met
  • Operate Front Office department within the departmental budget guideline

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities
  • High customer service focus and LQA focus 
  • Possess exceptional problem-solving and service recovery skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good command of English (oral and written). Chinese speaking is an advantage.
  • Proficient knowledge of PMS Opera and MS Office
