JOB OBJECTIVE
Responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in managing the accounts, finance, credit functions and accounting/financial functions of the Group.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the Finance Manger to handle the accounts, finance and credit functions and well-versed in all accounting/financial functions of the Group.
To prepare and ensure Company tax compliance process i.e. tax estimation, tax computation, coordinate and respond to income tax inquires;
To liaise with the Company Secretary on all company secretarial matters;
To prepare the Group quarterly reports.
To manage on all GST and GST reporting matters.
To assist to direct the preparation of regular reports of cash flow, profit and loss, sales and capital expenditure, operating budgets .
To assist in the development of financial policies.
To liaise with external auditors in preparation for and during annual audits.
To coordinate the preparation of annual report and other related matters;
To liaise with SAP consultant on SAP accounting matters;
To liaise with business streams to obtain relevant information as required .
To perform other related job as assigned by Management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Formal Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline. Candidate with ACCA, CIMA, CPA or MIA qualification is an added advantage
At least five (5) years of working experience in a similar capacity
B. Knowledge
Good knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and other regulatory financial reporting requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels of people as well as excellent interpersonal and communication.
Able to speak/read Mandarin is advantages because you will be engaging with our China office branch / clients from China.
