Our client is an established group of companies listed in the main board. The group's business activities ranging from insurance and financial service to IT activities across Malaysia. Currently they are seeking to recruit a corporate secretarial professional to assume the role of Company Secretarial Executive to be based at their corporate head office at KL city centre.
The role
Reporting to the Company Secretary, you will be playing key supporting role in managing full spectrum of secretarial functions, thereby ensuring  statutory compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and Securities Commission.
To manage the company secretarial compliance work for a PLC and its group of companies.
for corporate secretarial matters and compliance with statutory requirements.
Manage Board and shareholders matters such as organising meeting, preparing and circulating board board papers, reports,minutes and announcements.
To attend board meetings for the group of companies.
The candidate
Professional qualification ICSA (qualified or part qualified) or Bachelor Degree in Corporate Administration.
Minimum 2 years of corporate secretarial experience.
Demonstrated company secretarial experience,preferably in financial services.
Sound interpersonal skills with ability to to liaise effectively at all levels.
Good command of English, verbal and written.
Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
