Accounts & Administrative Executive

Petaling Jaya, Selangor, MY

We are looking for an Accounts & Administrative Executive to assist in the managing of the financial health of our company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.

You should be familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organisational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.

Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures. 

Our office specifically is very fast-paced, with an entrepreneurial approach to the daily management of our business. You must be able to multi-task in order to handle a multitude of short and long-term project; with at times, competing and shifting levels of priority.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily bank reconciliation report.
  • Maintain proper record and organisation of filing system.
  • Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts administration tasks.
  • Complete weekly bank recon to ensure no discrepancy in banking.
  • Check on petty cash returns from branches and issue reimbursement cheque.
  • Check on staff expenses claim and input to staff claim template.
  • Perform monthly bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancy if any.
  • Any other ad hoc assignment.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields with professional qualifications.
  • Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
  • Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
  • Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Advance level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
