Our client is a accommodation hospitality management company, offering comfortable accommodation in the Klang Valley.Currently they are seeking an accomplished Procurement professional to come on board to lead all commercial,administrative and due deligence aspects of the procurement portfolio and functions activities.
Job Description
This role will primarily responsible for sourcing,selection and negotiating with suppliers.
-To manage demand and supply planning.
-To work on cost saving initiative to improve company profitability and operations efficiency.
-Developing and execution of inventory management processes.
The job task:
-To purchase and consolidate Non-Trade products for the company, which include equipment,Furniture,Capex,Opex,New renovation unit items,Brand Touch Point, Service contract,Office statineries,Printing.
-To maintain Proce Master List and Price Integrity in the system.
-To strategise and improve on Procurement,Vendor and Contract Management processes.
-To oversee the entire purchasing documentation process and ensure quarterly cost reports are submitted.
-Oversee and ensure that all invoices are correctly matched to PO and DO.
The candidate
This role presents a unique opportunity to be involved oneself in a fast growing accommodation hospitality business.
Necessary criteria for a successful applicant:
-He/she should ideally hold a bachelor degree in business administration, marketing or hospitality management.
-At least have a minimum of four years of previous work experience in renovation/construction in hotel or hospitality industry.
-Experience in CAPEX and OPEX is necessary.
-High level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
-Strong negotiation skills is required in undertaking procurement activities.
-Proficient in MS Office applications.
