Responsibilities:
- Carry out stock check, manage food stock & keep food cost at minimum percentage
- Ensure food quality & presentation are well maintained
- Accountable for overall success of kitchen operations
- Plan menus by consulting with Executive Chef
- Ability and willingness to create new recipes
- comply with & enforce sanitation regulations and safety standard
Requirements:
- Diploma in Culinary Science or related certificate would be a plus point
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef
- Understanding of variuous cooking methods, ingredients, equipments & procedures
- Execellent record if kitchen & staff management
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations & providing solutions
- Familiar with industry's best practise
- Working knowledge of basic computer software programmes
- Can independently lead, supervise & manage kitchen team. (This position will be expected to head the team)
- Passionate about foods (Western Cuisine), have a good working ethics
- Willing to work at Puchong
