Our client is a well-established and leading scaffolding hire and sales operations business based at Telok Gong, Port Klang. The company prides itself of supplying quality scaffolding to many construction related projects, range from small residential renovation work to huge commercial construction activities. They are right now seeking an experienced Scaffold Sales coordinator to provide efficient administrative support and manage the distribution and sales of scaffold to the construction sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
As Sales Coordinator, you will be providing administrative support and act as a key liaison between Sales team and other internal departments in executing sales process. You will be dealing with customers almost on a daily basis to generate leads and potential sales as well as providing product knowledge.
This is not a sales role and there is no cold calling.The role is to be part of their sales service team providing supportive administrative role within the office. Candidates who aspire for this role must be some one who is enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for customer service as the role will entail interaction with customers on regular basis.
The position is permanent and is office bound position.The incumbent will be playing the role as a liaison between the Sales and other internal departments, where she will be responsible for providing administrative support role to sales and service activities. This role is critical to providing customers with timely and dependable support for delivery of product orders and completion of repair services.
-Manage day-to-day customer inquiries on company's products and services.
-Providing administrative pre and post sales support to sales team on daily activities covering customer orders, quotation and billing.
-Processing of sales orders and all associated administration.
-Generate and Processing of customer orders.
-Attending to general sales support for the field sales team in developing new business.
-Coordinate and liaise internal departments to ensure deadlines are met.
The successful candidate must be a female in age group 26-38, possess a Diploma qualification in Business or equivalent and would have at least 3 years of similar experience in sales support role in your previous work experience.
-Female preferred; service oriented person.
-Minimum qualification: SPM/STPM or Diploma.
-3-4 years of relevant experience, scaffolding knowledge highly regarded.
-Ideally with relevant work experience in engineering or construction industry.
-Strong communication and people management skills.
-Good IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
This is a full-time permanent position with normal office working hours.
