Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling, recording, consolidating, and verifying our financial transactions.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Update accounts payable and receivable
  • Issue invoices and perform reconciliations
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups and keeping information confidential.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Protects company’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlements of invoices and payments
  • Perform accounting and operational duties that may be assigned
  • Familiar with preparation of financial report and cash flow statement
    To involve in collecting, analysing and presenting financial information to the Management for sound decision making.
  • Team player and ability to communicate and act as a business partner to the division heads and HOD’s of other departments

 

Requirements

  • Graduated with a Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • At least 3 years accounting experience
  • Willing to work in Timor Leste
  • Required Skill(s): Accounting, Analyzing Information, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Corporate Finance, Financial Software and Good Time Management Skills
  • Advance knowledge with accounting software, MS Excel, Word, etc.
  • Required Language: English & Mandarin
