ID: 193701 As a Burn In Equipment Engineer, you are responsible for the manufacturing support, evaluation, and installation of automated manufacturing equipment. Prepares maintenance procedures and policies, establishes support infrastructure, identifies and tracks equipment deficiencies and designs/implements improvements. Interfaces with process engineering and maintenance to develop and support new processes and applications. Estimates manufacturing cost and time standards and makes recommendations for improvements. Supports evaluation of new technologies and equipment for improvement of current techniques or implementation of new process techniques. Supports and is active in area and department TPM initiatives and teams. Responsibilities and Tasks: Equipment New Investment And Equipment purchase Equipment Purchase, Delivery Tracking, Setup, Buyoff And Ready For Production Co-ordination of Equipment Training Equipment Relocation / Transfer Technical Skills: Process and/or Equipment Knowledge,Application and Software Knowledge (defined by area),SPC Knowledge ,Engineering Solutions,Safety, RDA Metrology Applications,Judgment and Decisions Quality: Human deviations, rework, scrap, excursions during review period,QDR writing and follow-up skills,Quality awareness Safety Identify and promptly report hazards Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety.
