Reporting to Manager / Assistant Manager of Business Transformation & Governance of AIA Shared Services Sdn Bhd, this position shall be accountable to provide SME ability/support to GFS (all sub-units) as well as accountable for the provision and delivery of accounting and finance related business transformation & governance and improved finance functions via process automation and enhancement, relating to GFS services to AIA Group of entities in accordance with applicable accounting & regulatory policies, standards and guidelines. - Delivering accounting and finance related business transformation & governance with a high degree of quality and timeliness, taking into consideration and prioritizing based on business impact, regulatory requirements and resource constraints.
- Overall efficiency, effectiveness and quality improvements in GFS’s operations through continuous review of processes/systems and implementation of enhancements.
- Individual training and development program
- Individual quarterly review progress
- University Degree in Accounting/Finance/Financial Engineering
- Pursuing Internationally Recognized Professional Process Improvement Qualification (Lean Six Sigma etc) is an added advantage
- 3+ years accounting and finance experience with a multi-national asset management/insurance operation, and/or accounting and auditing experience with a big-sized accounting firm specializing in the financial services industry.
- Experience in a shared services or similar environment, executing outsourcing migration projects in relation to accounting and finance services
- Experience in a shared services or similar environment, identifying areas for process simplification and improvement to undertake process enhancement projects in relation to accounting and finance services
- Knowledge of SAP FICO, SAP CM, Ariba, Concur, BI and BPC
- Knowledge in Robotic Processing Automation and Artificial Intelligence tools in the market
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent MS Excel skills including Macro knowledge
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is added advantage
- Knowledge of control environments/internal controls in an accounting and finance operation is an added advantage
- Good planning, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good documentation writing skills
- Excellent self-motivation skills
- Ability to demonstrate basic leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
