Join us and become Head of P&D, Malaysia, where you'll be the local HR Business Partner for over 220 IT & Finance colleagues in Malaysia, as well as heading up the local P&D team. You'll deliver and develop as you work with leaders and P&D colleagues in an international team. Be part of the P&D Shared Functions team, which includes HR Business Partners for Finance, IT, P&D and our Group Support (Group Stakeholder Relations, Group Legal and Internal Audit) as well as the P&D team in Poland and Malaysia. With vast opportunities for making your mark, you'll be key in aligning our people processes and bringing our P&D team in Malaysia closer into the global P&D organisation. Your key tasks will be to
- develop and lead the local P&D team effectively, enthusiastically and with great care, in alignment with our new operating model and to secure we deliver on our targets
- be accountable/responsible for the delivery on all people-related matters related to employment in Malaysia, throughout the employee life cycle - from employer branding, talent acquisition to talent development, and including employee relations
- contribute pro-actively to the alignment of our people processes, securing the efficient collaborations between P&D, Global People Services and our local Office Management team
- act as HR Business Partner for the Malaysian office, delivering on the local alignment of our people processes and developing and championing relevant P&D projects
- participate actively in the local leadership team and support the further development of the Malaysia site, supporting the continued development of local leaders.
- preferably, have a master's (minimum bachelor's) degree in a relevant subject with further HR certifications
- have extensive experience with HR partnering and/or in an HR manager role(s), in a large international, matrix organisation.
- are experienced in successfully leading, engaging and motivating an HR team in a growing organisation
- have profound knowledge of local employment law, customs and practices
- thrive in an international environment and able to create strong and trustworthy relationships with your stakeholders
- speak and write English and Malay fluently.
