Job Purpose 

The incumbent will be primarily leading the Integrity Corrective Unit (ICU) of IGD. He/she will be expected to strategize and manage initiatives related to ICU’s two core functions which are Complaint Management and Detection and Verification and is expected to work closely with various stakeholders in instilling the culture of integrity and good governance. 


Duties & Responsibilities 

Complaint Management:

  • Lead and effectively manage all complaints and information of unethical activities received from internal and external parties
  • Analyze data and trends of the complaints and develop monthly reporting for internal stakeholders such as Integrity Preventive Unit (IPU) of IGD

Detection and Verification:

  • Detect and verify information related to corruption and ethical breaches of Code of Conduct and policies
  • Prepare reporting the conducted verification together with comments and recommendations to HOD
  • Monitor and proactively provide recommendations to HOD for matters with elements of corruption

Project & Team Management:

  • Assist HOD/BOD on organizational and global cross reference to gain best practices on integrity, governance and compliance
  • Provide timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue relevant mitigation plans for potential risk factors
  • Manage allocation of resources effectively including budget and staff within agreed timeline and quality of standards
  • Supervise and provide continuous coaching, guidance and feedback to team members
  • Identify capability and skills gaps of team members and recommend growth or training programs 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field with at least 7 years of working experience 
  • Good understanding of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act, other relevant laws and regulations 
  • Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) or any professional qualification from the institute of Integrity Malaysia will be an added advantage
  • Experience in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance and law enforcements such as Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) and MACC will be an added advantage
  • Excellent service record and zero disciplinary record

Competency Required 

  • Demonstrate undivided commitment towards ethics and integrity and zero disciplinary record
  • Meticulous analysis in examination of facts and documents and producing evidence
  • Strong drive to guide and motivate others to speak up the truth and act with integrity
  • Analytical insights and ability to connect the dots
  • Report writing that is understood to the reader and audience
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
