The company
Our client is a clear leader within their niche space in the Technical construction market. They are well respected company with nearly two decades of expertise in their field. The position will be based at their Johor branch office the main focus of this position is to drive sales, and to manage and grow existing and prospective clients in the commercial construction channel.
The position
As Technical Sales Executive/Engineer, you will be responsible for a mixture of Business Development, Technical sales, client liaison, Tender preparation/Submission role. Reporting to Senior Sales Manager, your key business objectives include:
-Leading from front winning business,projects and by maintaining strong relationships with clients throughout North Johor. Typically these will include major builders, architects,structural engineers,Contractors,resellers.
-Researching fyture business in terms of business development,selling,competitive pricing and other factors that influence the buying decisions of targeted groups.
-Achieving adequate profit margins and sales targets.
The person
-Educated up to degree level in engineering or any other disciplines.
-Extensive client facing sales background (minimum 3 years).
-Background in the construction industry with external building products/materials.
-Key contacts locally with architects, consulting engineers, commercial builders and contractors.
-Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
