This position is to execute, manage and monitor related activities under fixed asset
management and beverage machines. The position guides and advocates best practices
within set guidelines of the organization to efficiently manage requisitions, eliminate
wastage and improve turnaround time



Fixed Asset Management - Execute and Monitor activities related to Physical Asset

  • Pre-Sighting - Based on the plan and schedule for annual asset sighting prepared by the Executive and Performance Manager, to extract the asset listing from the GP System, sort by office location and asset category
  • To proceed with sighting exercise
  • Post Sighting – to update the Asset GP System on the status of the asset (location,faulty, missing, no longer in use and obsolete) and to retag items with fallen/damaged tags

Fixed Asset Management - Execute and Monitor activities related to Asset

  • Update asset database for any movements, transfers or loss of assets
  • To inform the Executive on any unused/ obsolete/ faulty/broken assets for write-off compilation

Fixed Asset Management - Execute and Monitor activities related to Asset Disposal

  • Upon Write-off Approval to execute asset disposal exercise scrap vendor bidding process
  • Execute disposal collection by winning bidder

Manage and Supervise the activities associated with drinking water dispensers and
beverage vending machines at all MDEC Offices

  • Coordinate and facilitate the supply and demand between users and vendors
  • Walkabout to ensure dispensers are in working condition and refiled accordingly
  • Coordinate fault reporting and repair with vendor

Manage procurement and performance of beverage machine vendors at all MDEC

  • Coordinate agreement between vendor and Legal
  • Supervise and asses the SLA performance of vendors
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Produce monthly reporting, analyze the expenditure trend and propose methods of cost savings (usage control and etc)

Supports HoD/HoU on related work as assigned

  • Support and work closely with HoD/HoU on budgetary matters, process reviews and resolve operational issues
  • Performs other related work assigned



  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
  • Minimum Experience 5 years
