Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager - Social Affairs

Your responsibilities

  • Team lead to the Social Affair Team. Mentoring and guiding the team to achieve common goals.
  • Responsible in driving process improvements and cost management measures.
  • Responsible in documenting all SA processes by leading the effort with the team.
  • Responsible in managing various suppliers and coming up with KPI , Scope of work documentation for the suppliers.
  • Design, develops, manages and lead a variety of site social affairs initiatives in accordance to BMI Social Affairs charter:
  • a) Healthcare and wellness- Administration of healthcare processes, Creating awareness of wellness.
  • b) Balance - Employee lifestyle programs that assist employee to effectively manage and respond to changes in life and work.
  • c) Environment- Healthy & positive workplace programs to be Work Place of Choice.
  • d) Community- Activities that promote employee engagement and sense of belonging.
  • Responsible for the execution and communication of the social affairs & other Human Resources initiatives- NADI, LCD, BKC and BMI Online.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to initiative management, employee assistance (on call support & We Care Funds) and related community programs offerings.
  • Oversee site amenities of convenient stores, bussing and recreational facilities.
  • Lead Employee recreation activities and Sports Tournaments.
  • Participate in company events such as awards night.
  • Partner and work with multiple stakeholders across divisions to achieve alignment, develop and implement social affairs initiatives.
  • Perform financial forecasting , preparing budgets and expenditures, analyzing variances, tracking of spending and initiate proposals/ solutions.
  • Involve in audit and auditing of peers high risk data such as healthcare, retirement etc.
Your qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years related working experience.
  • Experience in managing Healthcare, Wellness, Transportation and vendors is an added advantage.
  • Requires a basic knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in a professional field. Begins to use standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
  • Familiar in using Excel functions, for example Vlook Up, Pivot Tables and to perform data analysis .
  • Ability to manage employees and respond to them tactfully.
  • Have the experience and passion in organizing events will be an added advantage.
