Job Overview:

Coordination with PMT and Operations with regard to priorities, such as deliverables and sequences. Develop logic networks to meet Project requirements. Interpretation of sequence drawings for networks. Develop and maintain standards for programs. Support planners and trainees and supervise. Assist in work scope development and definition. Attend Project and Client meetings when and as required.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Assist in developing logic networks and schedules
  • Assist and check planners in daily activities
  • Training within the department
  • Standardization and development of procedures and programs
  • Control and monitor inputs to project schedule
  • Issue reports of all types
  • Assist in co-ordination of overall project schedule
  • Assist in systems management, development and user support
  • Verify man-hour content and distribution to detailed activities
  • Assist with standard work breakdown and implementation of same to schedule
  • Assist with detailed planning for area schedules through pre-commissioning and commissioning
  • Advise on potential for improvement in work execution
  • Advise on potential problem areas arising within the project and advise Project Planning Manager accordingly discussing potential solutions
  • Liaise daily with Project Planning Manager to ensure project schedule is maintained accurately
  • Ensure that all level 4 Fabrication schedules are grouped appropriately into the project schedule
  • Ensure resource planning is done adequately and monitor and maintain resource levels and forecasts
  • Perform proper schedule maintenance whilst producing and issuing all reports as required
  • Maintain and adhere to company safety and ethics standards
  • Maintain productivity trends and reports for Project and ensure visibility and accuracy is maintained
Basic Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree
  • Has 10 years in similar industry
