About the role

The function is part of the Corporate Information Management team, with 2 key objectives:
  • Project delivery: deliver end-to-end projects for the Asia Pacific region, in the area of the forecast to stock, ensuring successful implementation of projects worth up to CHF 2 million in SAP module of Sales & Distribution
  • Daily support of end-users for the finance related processes in the APAC region across 10 plants, managing up to 100 users
Key responsibilities include
  • You are capable to manage the managed finance and controlling workstream in a project
  • Project Delivery: You deliver on full-lifecycle SAP projects. This means that you analyze the existing business processes and that you translate the future requirements of the end-user into optimized business processes
  • In project delivery you:

  • responsible for the customizing of SAP and you document the functional specifications for the developments in your domain
  • responsible for the testing of the solutions defined/developed
  • responsible for training the end-users, through different ways
  • responsible for the post Go Live support on the projects you deliver
  • Application Support: You support the running business and you manage independently smaller change requests
  • Internal Stakeholders - Regional & local leads, responsible for the departments covered in the forecast to stock workstream (eg. Regional & local finance leads, eg regional CFOs); Power users locally for the specific MFC processes in the sites; Other IM team centers in the regions (Wieze/Zurich/St Hya, specifically Global template lead for Forecast to stock related processes (Leonardo, Pedro)
  • Managing external consultants - For certain projects, external consultants could be involved, and the requirement is to liaise and manage their delivery
About you
  • You achieved a university degree in (applied) economics, commercial engineering, information technology or similar
  • Experience in Finance & Controlling in an SAP context, of around 3 – 7 years
  • You have a wide interest and good knowledge in SAP Finance and Controlling modules (FI, CO)
  • Experience with full life cycle implementations and conversion experience would be a plus
  • You have experience in managing a small project team in the relevant domain up to 2 - 3 people
  • Your analytical mind and structured and accurate way of working makes you very suitable for project based working
  • The type of work requires between 20% and 40% of traveling in the Asia Pacific region as well as globally
