Store Manager



REPORT TO : Assistant Retail Manager/Retail Manager/Managing Director 


To achieve RIMOWA sales targets via:

  • Ensuring that team members implement effective selling techniques, client care service and provide top level customer service, through assessments and coaching
  • Ensuring all store operations are carried out with maximum effectiveness & efficiency
  • Daily inspection & reporting of store maintenance required
  • Providing feedback & ideas to management


1. Sales

  • Achieve Store Sales Targets
  • All team members to achieve individual targets
  • Ensuring minimum sign-up rate of 50% amongst local residents for EDM base
  • Providing timely feedback on business, store operations & team performance

2. Client Care

  • Ensuring all team members contribute to client care service
  • Daily checks/identification of potential service failures & the necessary solutions
  • Ensuring timely follow up for client repair cases
  • Daily checks to ensure store has sufficient spare parts

3. Operations

  • Overall in-charge of Roster planning & shift covers/OT where required
  • Daily inspection of store maintenance, operational requirements & necessary follow up
  • Daily check on stock card accuracy
  • Plan priority list for customers waiting for stock to arrive & reservations list
  • Ensure daily 100% report accuracy
  • Ensure daily 100% money handling accuracy
  • Ensure housekeeping successfully completed & VM maintained
  • Ensuring store has the optimal stock holding
  • Daily follow up on telephone/email enquires & missed calls

4. Leadership

  • Maximum of 5 mins lateness per month
  • Reporting & Assistance with solving team issues
  • Ensuring all communication is received and carried out by team
  • Collecting feedback from team
  • Equitable distribution of all required business tasks
  • Constant assessment and coaching of team members for both customer service, sales related and non-sales tasks/processes
  • Full review of operational/service failures and the necessary coaching
  • Motivating team by sharing positive team actions/best practices
  • In-charge of fortnightly 360 audit of store performance and subsequent review with Brand management


1. Achievement of Store Sales Target - 50%

2. Effective management of client care service and no customer complaints for entire store - 15%

3. Effective leadership, coaching & review with brand management, to ensure top level service delivery, no customer complaints, and a strong team spirit - 15%

4. Diligent store operations & people management to ensure successful completion of daily tasks - 10%

5. Qualitative (This is fixed) - 10%
