Job Description
  • To certify the restaurant with minimal Quality and Food Safety Standard.
  • To assist in developing, implement, communicate, improve and maintain restaurant’s Quality & Food Safety Management Program and Policies.
  • To ensure product compliance to regulatory requirements and assist in establishing quality requirements and food product specification. Perform meal evaluations for compliance to specification and consistency.
  • Lead the In-process Quality Control (IPQC) activity throughout the process stream from receiving to serving.
  • Establish Critical Control Points and implement standard formatting for Quality monitoring.
  • Responsible as the Facility Sanitation Coordinator/Lead for overall plant hygiene. Provide technical analysis and expertise on Sanitation program to ensure effective execution and implementation.
  • Lead and partners with Pest Control service provider for effective pest control implementation within the premises.
  • Evaluate, Analyse and Troubleshoot the quality related issue and coordinate the Hold and Release process for effective non-compliance management.
  • Work with internal and external parties to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Liaise with auditor/inspector/officer and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with any audit findings or regulations.
  • Manage the product laboratory testing, equipment calibration and other periodic testing as necessary.
  • Coordinate work on product and franchise halal certification
  • Monitor the overall quality chain compliances at supplier, distribution and crew handling in restaurant.
  • Crew Training and Certification- Managing of crew food handler training, maintain master training records.
  • Lead and manages the Customer & Consumer Complaint which related to Food Safety and Food Quality from restaurant.
  • Conduct supplier check to ensure compliance and work closely with supplier on improvement.
  • To carry out Process Audit and GMP monitoring.
  • Write technical reports.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Follow the company rules and regulations as stipulated in the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issue.
  • To drive and support total organization vision and mission.
  • To perform any and all other assignments as directed or requested by Head, Inflight or Franchise Operation Manager

Education & work experience:
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Food Studies or Nutrition.
  • Attended relevant training such as HACCP, GMP, Food Handler Course, Food Safety etc.
  • Minimal 1 years working experience in food industry or restaurant service experience.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of food production, handling and operations.
  • Familiar with local law pertaining to the foodservice operations
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Able to travel as when it is required
Skills, knowledge & traits:
  • Possess personal traits: friendly, mature, humble, honest, meticulous; self-starter; able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment
  • Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, google, and access
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
