Project Manager

Bandar Bukit Puchong, MY

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients and consultants to determine the specifications of the projects;
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities;
  • Determine needed resources such as manpower, material and equipment from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations;
  • Plan all constructions and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met accordingly;
  • Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies;
  • Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities;
  • Supervise the work of laborers and give them guidance when required;
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports;
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues;
  • Execute the project according to the project plan;
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities;
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured;
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project;
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project;
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards;
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • To submit daily the cost of each project;
  • To providing advice on the management of projects;
  • Manage and organizing the various professional people working on a project; carrying out risk assessment;
  • making sure that all the aims of the project are met;
  • making sure the quality standards are met;
  • using IT systems to keep track of people and progress;
  • monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained;
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Qualification & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years or more experience in related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years in related field
