DESCRIPTION:

Beginning to develop relationships with an assigned partner and maintains contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, basic issue resolution, and footprint expansionCollaborates with manager to develop territory plan to identify key target markets and plans sales campaigns to drive demand for a dedicated partnerPerforms outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, sales qualifications, and offer extensions to existing or new customersIf account/acquisition focused, individual responsible for:- Average-to-high revenue spend and/or account complexity within assigned business.- Higher strategic value within assigned business. Accurately updates and utilizes Salesforce.com to track all sales activitiesMeets quota goals in an assigned market with a specific partner and ensures sales targets/objectives

targets/objectives are achieved quarterly and annually

Meets activity metrics for scheduled calls, opportunities added, net new accounts and units sold. Leverages internal resources (e.g. District Manager, Technical Consultants, Solution Specialists, Global Financial Services) and channel resources to drive transactional volumeMaintains working knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition in order to position EMC products effectively with customers.
