We are looking for a motivated, dynamic IT Executive to join our team. An exciting position for those interested with exposure system administration, system implementation and user support.

To help to achieve this, we will provide you with a competitive base salary, contractual bonus and career opportunities. You will also be given full training, with hands on assistance from IT Team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

System Administration and User Support
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including domain controllers, file servers, backup systems, telephony, firewalls, routers, etc.
  • Troubleshooting system and network issues, and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Supporting and coordinating implementation of business applications.
  • Conducting IT training to end-users.
  • Manage day-to-day end user IT support.
Vendor Management
  • Managing IT service providers based on agreed SLA and deliverables.
IT Security
  • Enforce IT security policies, procedures and standards.
  • Involve in IT security projects.
  • Perform IT security audits, systems administration and implementation (including hardware and software security).

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related, with at least 2 years relevant working experience in system administration, system implementation and user support.
  • Working knowledge in the following is required
  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Windows 7 & 10 operating systems
  • Microsoft Office product suites
  • Network devices (firewalls, routers, security, VPN)
  • Working knowledge in the following will be an added advantage:
  • Vmware ESX environment
  • SQL database and reporting
  • Google Apps
  • Web-based system programming experience (Javascript, HTML, ASP.net)
  • Telephony and Call Center
  • Mobile and social media technologies
  • IT Security
  • Good communication & analytical skills.
  • Team player who is able to work independently.
  • Committed and responsible team player with a pleasant personality.
  • Traveling within Malaysia is required.
Highly Desirable:
  • Excellent attention to detail and negotiation skills
  • Ability to do multitasking job
  • Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
  • Excellent in both spoken and written English. Multi-lingual – Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese will be an added advantage
