Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will support the Project Management function and be responsible for managing the day to day activities in close collaboration with global business process teams, process transition leads and project managers to create project plans & progress reports, change management, escalation, stakeholder management up to project documentation throughout the life cycle of the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project preparation activities to educate and inform the Affiliate (country) in the “To Be” solution, FTE requirements and the split of roles/activities between SSC and affiliates.
  • Effectively manage the interdependencies with other on-going global projects and its stakeholders.
  • Deliver the work stream tasks in accordance with the transition and change management methodology to ensure the migrated solution works in practice.
  • Support and interact with transition project work stream leads to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist migrating units to define their new business processes and organization from the template solution provided by the project team.
  • Promote and adhere to the standard SSC transition methodology ensuring compliance with the approach, governance, cost, and service level parameters.
  • Accountable and responsible for all deliverables and milestones for all phases and waves as part of the APAC SSC transition.
  • Works with documenters for the successful delivery and execution of all project documentation.
  • Works with IT on all IT requirements and obtain appropriate sign-off.
  • Understand the resource implications, constraints and dependencies between projects and advise the Project Manager on issues, suggested mitigations and priorities.
  • Escalates issues to Project Manager, Head of Project Management and SSC leadership as appropriate.
  • Leads team through go-lives and provides all necessary support during the hyper care phase.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of Project Management.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Possess a university degree with
5 years of proven experience in managing or leading projects in large organisations or in the Finance shared services industry. * Project Management qualification (PMP, PMI, Prince, Agile) and Lean/ Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with multi-cultural teams and stakeholders in various locations.
  • Confident and clear communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English, ideally with one or more additional languages
  • High level of organization skills.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, MS Excel, Smartsheet or similar) and electronic document management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Culturally aware with strong people skills.
  • Able to take information from multiple sources, interpret it correctly and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the right quality.
  • Achieving project milestones in what, at times, can be a fast moving and under pressure.
  • Functional experience in one or more of the business processes: Finance, Procurement, Business Support Services is a plus.
  • Travel within the region (up to 20% of the time)
