Billing Manager

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for accuracy of billing, revenue accrual optimization and turn around time of billing for the Caleb Brett and Agri World Business Line.  In addition, the role also has people management responsibilities.

  • Responsible for all billing activities including reporting and dispatch function
  • Recommend improvements to billing processes and dispatch procedures
  • Implement KPIs to track and improve performances of the order to cash process
  • Supervises billing staff which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution, evaluates performance and make recommendation when required
  • Able to give direction to all team members on timeline and process each month

Daily

  • To track completed jobs and review the correct application of job completion date
  • To issue invoices and customize dispatch for selected customers
  • To verify all vendor invoices relating shipments and provide accounting code
  • ·Attend to all adhoc requests

Monthly

  • Month Close Process
  • To plan month cut off procedures and notify all stakeholders
  • To ensure correct revenue recognition is applied
  • Oversee the accrued income process
  • Special handling for major customers
  • Navarik system – BP/ Chevron & ExxonMobil => monitor the progress from invoicing to collection
  • Attend to any queries

Report

  • To generate daily job log report & 5x5 metrics data for distribution
  • To generate reports to monitor TAT days on weekly & monthly basis
  • Produce weekly report for operations team to monitor and track job status
  • To submit monthly sales reconciliation to management
  • Provide business line sales report to operations for analytical purposes
  • Procurement
  • To plan/review procurement processes and make recommendation for improvement
  • To problem solve any issues raised by procurement officer
  • Vendor Invoices – In house scanning
  • To make arrangement for all invoices to be electronically scan to outsourcing service provider

Requirement

  •  Degree in Accountancy / Business Admin with 5 years’ Finance and Accounting experience
  •  Familiar with Accounts Payable and Receivable
  •  Strong interpersonal and communications skills with proven ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on with the ability to multi tasks
  • Proven people management skills in leading a big team
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Required to travel to Branches within Malaysia on need basis
