Your responsibilities

  • Manage freight operations which includes identify competent freight service provider via tendering platform, sourcing for ad hoc freight, new route planning, KPI monitoring, track and trace shipment and issue follow up and escalation.
  • Conduct QBR (Quarter Business Review) with the management of the service provider, provide recommendation for continuous improvement in lead time or cost to management.
  • Create and maintain warehouse and freight SOP with reference to relevant quality standard, authority requirement and internal specification.
  • Ensure the warehouse operations process is run according to agreed SOP, warehouse infrastructure (Internal or outsourced) is maintained as per agreed specification.
  • Ensure inventory/assets records reflect the physical movement and balance, accuracy of the records is synchronize with various system.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of relevant logistics data in the system (eg. SAP).
  • Manage full cycle of customer complaint from creation to full closure.
  • Analyze shipment data periodically, customer complaint trend, monitor latest logistics industry news and technological trend and recommend improvement measurement to the management.
  • Compile logistics freight cost and prepare logistics spent report.
  • Ensure accuracy of logistics billing by the service providers.
  • Prepare yearly logistics freight and warehouse cost budget.
  • Provide consultation to cross functional team on logistics related matters.
  • Lead cross functional team to implement project that deliver significant cost improvement or compliance.
Your qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor ' s Degree with basic working experience.
  • Requires a basic knowledge of a technical field. Begins to use standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
  • Independently plans and schedules based on general directions received. Works with minimal day to day supervision.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
