Job Description

1.​ Accounting

​ Responsible for financial affairs and participating in decision making, provide financial related advice and ensure the Group activities are in compliance to directives, regulations and Code of Conduct;

​ Responsible for the supervision and management of the day-to-day accounting activities are in compliance with directives, guidelines and accounting practices and regulations;

​ Responsible for the maintenance of the proper ERP system for the generation of timely and accurate financial reports required by the Group;

​ Responsible for the review and improve the accounting practices, procedures and policies to ensure it is updated, effective and efficient to support the Group's rapid growth and expansion;

​ Responsible to ensure the Group's Internal Control System are in place and in compliance to ensure the quality and integrity of the accounting data and information and to develop necessary processes required to improve the effectiveness to comply with the Group directives, policies and procedures;

​ Responsible and oversee the statutory affairs of the Group as well as leading and evaluate the performance of the accounting function and to perform necessary action for to continuously improvements;

​ Responsible for financial reports and presentations for scheduled Board Meeting.

2.​ Reporting

​ Responsible for regular accurate, timely and comprehensive management and financial reports to the Management to provide clear insight into the financial condition of Group;

​ Responsible for the quarterly and annual financial reports including the necessary filings and announcements with Regulations.

​ Responsible for the accurate measurement of development and operating cost structure and work with operations team to ensure cost are in line with the profitability, the development cost and profit, margin expectation.

3.​ Execution

​ Responsible for the development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and financial information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against Plan/Targets plan and operating effectiveness of the Group;

​ Responsible for the development and implementation of various function within the Group towards achieving the Group business plan;

​ Responsible to prepare, initiate, and implement investment plan for the Company's development and expansion including managing and controlling the approved Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) to ensure effective utilization of funds and optimization of working capital structure.

4.​ Working Capital Management

​ Responsible to maintain and manage the appropriate working capital structure to ensure effective utilization of funds and sufficient liquidity to support business plan;

​ Responsible for the effective management of the Group's capital structure to maximize return on Capital Employed while ensuring financial security.

5.​ Legal affairs, risk and compliance

  • ​ Compliance with Companies Act;
  • ​ Responsible for the review and execution of all contracts;
  • ​ Responsible for the Group's legal affairs;
  • ​ To fulfilling all the Group's taxation obligations;
  • ​ Handling risk management including the annual risk review, business continuity and crisis management;
  • ​ Compliance with listing requirements guidelines by Securities Commissions and Bursa Malaysia.
6.​ Information Technology Services

​ To ensuring provision of appropriate computing services to Group's staff by identifying cost-effective, innovative and robust IT systems;

  • ​ Responsible to identification of opportunities for use of ITS to improve processor and other elements of the Group's work, including productivity improvements and cost savings;
Responsible for implementation of strategies for disaster recovery.

7.​ Others

​ Drive the Group's initiative to implement a Performance Management System group-wide;

​ Assist in the review and development / setting of Accounting, Compliance, Secretarial, IT and Legal policies;

​ Provide guidance and advice on human resource matters where relevant;

​ Discharge such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Chief Financial Officer from time to time.
