Job Purpose

Designing, implementing and championing learning-related initiatives across the business to drive the organizational transformation.

Partner with the local and global teams to identify organizational development priorities and determine resource requirements to implement these initiatives.

Enable people’s learning, growth, excellence & results and driving better outcomes for our organization, employees and patients.

Required to collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional team members, as well as with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Key Activities/Responsibilities :

To assess and define the learning strategy and development needs in consultation with MY-NET and in line with Pharma International business strategy & desired culture

Support Roche Malaysia deliver on its stated goals and strategies by shaping and executing a multi-year Organisation Development roadmap

Actively partner with MY-NET, People & Culture Business Partner & coaches, in shaping a healthy, engaging, inclusive and high performing culture

ensuring that new ways of leading are role modeled and embedded into the organization.

Provide team effectiveness and leadership coaching consulting support to MY-NET & coaches, with the goal of accelerating their leadership journey both as collective as well as individual leaders.

Provide expert advice on organisation design, capability development and change management to support the most significant organizational transformations

Effectively partnering with Global Talent Innovation Team, to maximize our offerings

Responsible for effectively partnering with People & Culture Business Partners, coaches and business leaders to gain knowledge of work situations and trends within the business which require learning & development support to deliver consistent and high impact people development solutions.

Plan, design, develop and provide employee development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, on-the-job training, conferences, workshops etc to increase our organizational capabilities

Support business as usual learning activities

Develop Learning & Development metrics, including evaluation of facilitator/coaches performance & managing the training budget

Selecting and developing learning aids such as participant guides

Responsible for Learning & Development statistics & reports analysis

Support the identification of key positions and succession planning.

Facilitate the implementation of People Discussions within our local organization.

Leadership Development Approach design and implementation, moving from traditional to Agile leadership.

Understand employees’ opinions & company’s improvement areas, and initiate activities for continuous improvement.

Implement corporate initiatives to the company with smooth adaptation

Other Projects :

Prepare and facilitate the organization to implement the new people practices.

Fully engaged, contribute to and learn from the international network

Participate Global or Regional HR project and make sure the quality delivery

Lead or support HR project locally to support defined needs

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as required by the business.

Competencies

Job Specific Competencies: -

Experience in people and organizational development

5+ years of experience in managing people in a project environment

Strategic mindset and demonstration of achieving results with excellence in execution in a highly dynamic environment on the local and/or global/PI/Area level

Inspirational, preaching to the not-convinced, comfortable with being challenged and treating everyone as equal

Experience with diverse learning approaches (classroom, virtual and experiential)

Embraces innovation and willing to experiment and prototype

Creative leadership skills in line with Leadership Commitments

Previous Roche Learning & Organisation Development experience would be an advantage

Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Good command of English language

Expertise

At least 5 years of experience as an HR Learning Development or Organisation Development Expert

Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
