Overview / Responsibilities

  • Input the required design data into instrument index as per the defined structure and format
  • Design and layout of instrumentation systems
  • Prepare cable schedules
  • Prepare loop diagrams
  • Prepare junction box termination drawings
  • Prepare electrical power supply system for field instruments
  • Cable tray routing drawings
  • 3D PDS / SP3D / E3D Modelling for cable trays, junction boxes and panels
  • Prepare instrument installation hook-up drawings
  • Preparation of MTOs
Skills / Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent technical school certificate, with experience as an Instrument Designer in Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical/Power Plants
  • Familiar and hands on experience with design and drafting tools like INtools, Microstation, Autocad, Microsoft Word & Excel. etc
  • Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
  • Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win
  • Ability to promote an open and informal communication environment that aims at growing mutual trust and teamwork
  • Malaysian citizen and able to work on 6 month's contract
