Position: Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Quantum is seeking a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a high-level of business acumen to join our Quality Team as an analyst. The primary responsibility of this position is managing Quality related data to understand and drive improvement for our customers. Other responsibilities will include working with our Product Quality Managers, service managers and vendors to organize and understand Quality related information guide our business operations. The Analyst will provide process, systems and reporting solutions and support to the global service organization.

Job Duties:

Quality Information Management
  • Define and deliver product and quality system performance metrics.
  • Measure, evaluate and monitor established metrics.
  • Enable access to Product quality and service data to enable business decisions.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to examine existing Quality models, data flow design, and reporting structures to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Participate in business improvement projects by identifying options for improved solutions.
  • Influences cross functional teams to drive the right proactive improvements on both products and processes.
  • Act as a key source of Quality information for cross functional teams.
  • Act as an interface between IT and business/end users in developing new additional functionality
Report Creation and Management
  • Design/develop reports to manage/measure Product Quality
  • Develop new ad hoc reports to address specific business needs
  • Create, test and validate functional design of complex reports
  • Own and report on specific service metrics, ensure data integrity by auditing accuracy and consistency across organizations and geography
Failure Analysis Support
  • Track and manage information flow between customer failures and vendor failure analysis.
  • Ability to understand complex root cause analysis at both a technical level as well as a business level.
  • Develop/test process and procedural improvements to drive efficiencies for the business
Job Requirements (include Education, Skills & Experience):
  • BA/BS degree with at least 2-3 years of training and/or work experience
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and interest with a high attention to detail
  • Experience with Quality analytics required.
  • Solid Excel skills required. MS PowerBI skills desired. Database skills desired.
  • Experience in Oracle Service Cloud and/or SAP desired.
  • Experience working within a service organization desired.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Must be results driven with a passion to understand the business and improve quality and business strategy and, possess initiative to take ownership of projects and processes
  • Must possess strong communications, technical and analytical skills and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to balance multiple projects and embrace challenge and change
  • Ability to multi-task between several critical customer’s situation at the same time
