Job Purpose

Lead/co-lead the execution of Malaysia Roche Patient Assistance Programs (MYRPAP) to enroll and manage eligible patients to access Roche products in Malaysia.

To assist/guide MYRPAP’s patients in MYRPAP enrollment, registration and management of the program in P360 platform.

Drive brands strategies in the patient value chain.

Upkeep the viability and integrity of MYRPAP and its execution platform - P360.

Required to collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional team members, as well as with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Malaysia Roche Patient Assistance Program (MYRPAP)

Lead/co-lead short and long term MYRPAP strategies for assigned brands in collaboration with the Ecosystems members.

Implementing strategic scenarios that will deliver value to patients based on market access strategy and ROI.

Implement, monitor and manage MYRPAP based upon the brand and patient needs (education, delivery support, adherence, access to private reimbursement, compassionate assistance via RPAP) and providing differentiated value-offering to patients.

Develop performance standards with Ecosystems members and measure success against performance standards (e.g. monthly MYRPAP brand analysis).

Plan and lead management team meetings and guide team members to ensure that unit objectives are achieved.

Provide strategic direction to all managers and team members, to further enhance existing programs and have responsibility for attaining established new objectives, with particular attention on access;

Oversight in conversion-allocation-delivery of Compassionate Goods in MYRPAP.

Be familiar with the technical and operational aspects of MYRPAP and P360 system.

Co-manage all field based activities of MYRPAP nationwide.

Overall responsibility for timelines, accuracy, and completeness of all services

Compliance and Business Conduct

Responsible for the overall compliance of the role in clear alignment with Roche Directives and/or other guidance documents.

Maintain a high ethical standard in Roche practices with Integrity, Courage and Passion in management of patients.

Stay abreast of industry trends and important pending legislation impacting MYRPAP.

Assist with developing, present (for approval), implement and tracking performance for strategic and tactical annual plans related to all activities associated with RPSP;

Program and process efficiency

30% time on fieldwork to obtain feedback and input on real-world experience with user interface and user experience (UI-UX) feedback.

Continuously improve performance in MYRPAP operations and brand program enhancements

Attend patient/advocacy group meetings and conferences as needed to educate on disease/product information and case management.

Establish and maintain good rapport externally with doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other agencies as well as internally with RPAP coordinator.

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

Identify areas for risk and foster proactive, continued quality improvement.

Establish a BCM plan for MYRPAP-P360.

Conduct a sanity check on compliance, MAP management, PV, quality and risks annually

Others

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as required by the business

Competencies

Job Specific Competencies: -

Good managing and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work and collaborate well with cross functional group.

Ability to troubleshoot business issues to minimize MYRPAP continuum risks.

Ability to adapt in regularly changing environment

Expertise

Preferably 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

2 years in manager’s role.

Key understanding in patient value chain.

Fluent in 2 languages, written/verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia. Verbal communication in other local languages e.g. Mandarin, Tamil, etc will be an added advantage.

Experienced as CPR instructor.

Education / Qualification

Diploma in Nursing from College of Nursing is preferable.

Good counselling skills.

Good knowledge and understanding of pharmacovigilance management
