JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- To manage the planning process of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution
- To locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales
- To control supply chain department budgets
- To review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to Company policy
- To analyse market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability
- To participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials
- To represent Company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers
- To review, evaluate and approve specifications for using and awarding bids
- To direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies
- To administer on-line purchasing systems and arrange for disposal of surplus materials
- Posses a Degree in Business Administration/Management in Logistics/Warehouse/Supply Chain Management
- Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience in F&B or retail industry.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and supervisory skill and able to lead and have a good analytical mind set
- Ability to express ideas clearly, feedback, follow-up and meet deadlines
- Good at problem solving and multitasking and able to interact with people from all levels, internal and external
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English and Malay
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship with team members
