*Salary RM10,000-15,000*

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Accountancy recognised by MIA/CPA
  • At least 8 to 10 years practical experience preferably in MNC and 3 to 4 years’ experience in Audit Firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting and Financial Reporting Standard i.e. MFRS.
  • Experience in dealing with auditors, tax agents and other regulatory authority.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecast and projection
  • Good in IT and computerised accounting system.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monthly financial reporting, statutory reporting and any ad-hoc reporting to the management and the Regional Office/s;
  • Ensure company’s accounts are maintained properly and accurately and comply to accounting standard and regional reporting guidelines;
  • Verify all accounting entries and ensure monthly financial data/records are accurately recorded according to the correct accounts and according to the accounting policy;
  • Responsible for the costing and to ensure inventory are properly maintained;
  • Responsible to maintain proper record of the company’s fixed assets and rental asset;
  • Responsible to ensure the company intercompany transactions are properly maintained and reconciled;
  • Work closely with planning team to analyse and review company performance against budget and forecast;
  • Review accounting system, procedure and policy and propose enhancement to the system & amendment to procedure and policy
  • To suggest and assist in implementing good internal control system and ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley Act;
  • To liase with the external auditors during year end audit and with internal auditor from time to time;
  • To liase with tax agents for yearly tax submission and review of tax computation;
  • To liase with any regulatory authority on corporate tax, indirect tax etc.
