Main Purpose of Job

To actively educate HCPs on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months of life and the continuation of it for as ln as possible after the introduction of complementary feeding. When breastfeeding is not possible; to provide accurate and scientific information to HCPs based on expressed needs about Wyeth’s Infant Nutrition Products and services. To ensure full compliance to WHO & Malaysia Codes, Wyeth Nutrition policies and instruction and local legislation in the context of delivering by self/entire team.

Your responsibilities would be to:

Establish Nestle's nutrition expertise by being a reliable source of on infant nutrition products, their benefits and superior quality.

Display excellent product knowledge by updating key contacts on recent Nutrition developments through the dissemination of brand literatures, materials and/or samples.

Maintain an updated area business plan and to review contact classification, master list and schedule to improve coverage efficiency and productivity.

Achieve target call rate of priority contacts to ensure visibility and product recall and to organize/conduct scientific activities, such as lectures, workshops, round table discussions, product presentations, trade meetings and DSR training, to communicate new nutrition findings and concepts to contacts.

Assess the total area potential (current and future) of the territory so as to identify growth opportunities and develop and implement area plans and also to conduct periodic trade checks to ensure product availability, market hygiene, and completeness of product range.

To forecast an adequate supply of communication and marketing materials/resource, products for evaluation, promotional product/premium, giveaways, and brochures to be distributed within the territory.

Ensure WHAS implementation for major accounts as well as to initiate innovative approaches to win contacts and counteract competition.

Attend to product related to queries and complaints and to conduct regular market research on competitor activities (stock level and prices), competitive pricing, field strength, and territory coverage to provide Management with information to improve the promotion of Nutrition products.

Identify and build long term strategic relationships and partnerships with KOL‟s, support staff, and local government units.

Submit on-time monthly reports and expense statements, manages company issued funds with integrity and to keep company property in good order and condition.

You must have the following:

Bachelor's degree in nutrition/science or any other equivalent qualifications.

2 to 3 years medical market experience, with proven track record of good performance in detailing and presentation, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
