JOB SUMMARY  The primary purpose of this position is to assist the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation in overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities and ensuring all related local policies and procedures are observed. Assisting the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation in Human Resources matters, General Affairs, Business Process and IT plus other tasks that the Management believes are within the abilities of the Job holder that fit with the company’s strategies as circumstance dictate.

 

ACCOUNTABLE FOR   Finance & Accounts

Assist the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation in monitoring, controlling and accurately recording of all financial transactions of the company.

Prepare forecasting and reports deviation of over expenditure or under budgeting to the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation.

Provide treasurer functions about the company’s cash planning and review the cash position on a monthly basis in order to optimize the use of funds.

Review the status of the Accounts Receivable ageing and monitor billing and collections.

Oversee timeliness, accuracy and compliance of monthly accounting closing period, consolidation or annual results as well as management report.

Oversee annual audit process and act as key liaison person to Internal/ External Auditors.

Assist the General Manager of Corporate and Innovation in establishing policy & procedures, internal financial reporting, financial analysis and internal control and procedures; recommend change and/or options.

Ensure all taxes are paid on time and all related tax reports are properly filed.

 

ACCOUNTABLE for People Management

Assist the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation in communication to ensure team is well informed for company’s expectations and directions.

Work closely with the company Human Resource team in ensuring all HR and payroll related internal controls are in place.

Educate the team on company’s code of conduct to understand and practice the value, responsibilities and ethical obligations.

Assist the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation in addressing performance issues and make recommendations.

 

ACCOUNTABLE for Business Process and Information Technology

Assist the General Manager of Corporate & Innovation in reviewing and implementing business process improvement of the company.

Work closely with the Business Process and Information Technology team in ensuring projects/processes are rolled out timely and smoothly.

 

Special Requirement/Skills:

Great initiative, dedicated, and work independently under fast paced environment. Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Strong leadership skills. Focused. Analytical. Detailed. Precise and accurate. Thorough. Proficient in written and spoken English. Advanced understanding of MS Excel. Firm grasp of tax and accounting systems knowledge.
