Role Summary:

We are looking for a Global Compliance Leader - Audits & Investigations for our Kuala Lumpur office.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Independently lead internal investigations by developing and executing investigative plans, conducting interviews, analyzing relevant information and facts, reviewing evidence and defining issues, and ensuring that matters are closed within specified duration with appropriate actions taken.
  • Prepare written reports and memorandum for presentation to leaders and corporate executives.
  • Implement BHGE's Legal Compliance Program pertaining to investigations.
  • Assist in managing BHGE's investigative database and perform statistical analysis of investigative data.
  • Advise senior management on legal risks and exposures based on investigative data.
  • Advise Product Company, Region Counsel and Compliance Counsel in areas that may affect BHGE's position in investigations.
  • Monitor new laws, rules, regulations and best practices relevant to BHGE and provide periodic updates to Compliance Counsel of the same.
  • Assist in compliance-related policy development and ongoing improvements.
  • Participate in goal-setting and monitoring of BHGE's compliance program.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications/Skills/Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree and law degree from accredited university/law school, with license to practice law. Minimum 5-7 years legal experience at a reputable law firm, legal department or governmental entity, with minimum 2 years experience in handling investigations;
OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field CPA, CIA, or CFE with minimum 5-7 years relevant experience, some preferably in internal audit or FCPA compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act and other Anti-Corruption laws around Asia Pacific preferred.
