Working for a customer focused exciting, young company that is at the forefront of their industry, the ideal candidate will have suitable experience working within a pro-active environment.

The successful candidate will be required to manage and build a payments and compliance team managing online payment and related compliance/security procedures. Must be completely fluent in English (native speaker written standard) and have suitable experience.


  • Manage the end customer - online payments and security side of the business
  • Handling customer complaints or any major incidents, such as security issues
  • Analysing statistics or other data to determine risk profiles
  • Minimizing and managing card chargeback representation
  • Maximizing card processing payment acceptance rates
  • Understanding and implementing strict compliance security requirements
  • Be a main point of contact for online payment service providers
  • Key stakeholder of integating new online PSP‘s to online products
  • Quality assurance testing around payment methods
  • Lead a team of payments & compliance staff - be involved in staff appraisals & development
  • Learning about the organisation's products or services and keeping up to date with changes
  • Reporting to senior management and other internal stake holders suitable feedback

  • Good communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advice customers & colleagues
  • To understand industry best practices and strive to reach the highest quality levels
  • Good problem-solving skills with self starter initiative - good at getting things done
  • Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations
  • Motivational skills and an ability to supervise/lead a team of payment & compliance officers
  • Organisational and planning skills to develop payment & compliance policies
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques


  • Ensure an accurate and careful approach to all tasks
  • Work methodically and transparently
  • 12+ years suitable experience
  • An excellent knowledge of all online payment methods and how they work
  • Experience in customer risk profiling
  • KYC & AML experience
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Be available for out of office hours emergencies – minimal expectation
