Job Responsibility

  • Customer Service:
  • Answering enquiries and requests from Tracker/Spending Guide clients, as well as EVP, IEP, TI/IRS and GITA clients in a timely manner, ensuring they are promptly kept informed of enquiry progress.
  • Coordinating interaction with IDC analysts via calls/presentations/on-sites etc
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the companies’ research portfolio to support clients effectively through a combination of desk research and analyst response.
  • Keeping an internal CRM system up-to-date including analyst visits/calls, producing usage reports and such.
  • Working closely with the analyst community across the regions and Access Group counterparts in other countries to help support clients effectively and fulfill their needs.
  • Business Development:
  • Assisting in contract renewal, identification of sales opportunities especially up-sell, and interaction with Sales reps.
  • Building a strong collaborative framework internally with the analyst/sales teams.
  • Participating in marketing/sales/account reporting activities, as well as, client development efforts including trials, campaigns, onsite visits, and regular interaction with clients.
  • Program Management:
  • Developing a deep knowledge of IDC’s solutions and client research needs
  • Creating content for specific proactive account support
  • Interpreting and fulfilling client research inquires
  • Develop innovative strategies to encourage usage of IDC information and inquiry time
  • Fulfilment, refinement & development of group operational processes and procedures
  • Work with US colleagues and other representatives on a global basis to shape AP products and develop efficient integrated processes
  • Working closely with Account Managers and the sales network to contribute toward the Department's financial goals
  • Analysing and reporting on client activity and provide internal direction
  • Building strong relationships with clients, learning about their needs through telephone contacts and client meetings.
Job Requirements

  • The Inquiry Analyst will support the Senior Inquiry Manager in supporting IDC's Tracker/Spending Guide and subscription programs for North Asia, as well as help drive customer retention through strong client relationship. They will be the central point of contact for client relationships and will work in close partnership with IDC’s research and sales organizations in the delivery of client requests.
