As a member of an innovative new B2B2C online platform, you will be on the front lines, working to acquire new business opportunities for Sabah Travel. We need our Business Development Executives to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward. As a Business Development Executive, you will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the needs of customers and understand how Sabah Travel B2B2C online platform can grow their business. The work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. You are extremely determined, have strong interpersonal skills, an unwavering commitment to quality and a collaborative work ethic. You don't need to be an expert or know everything about technology, but what we're after is someone with a curious mind, a good learning attitude and a passion for improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities
  • Onboard new suppliers including tour agents, homestays, attractions and transportation onto Sabah Travel platform
  • Conduct cold calls, clearly deliver Sabah Travel brand value to business partners and negotiate best deals
  • Present Company's new products and service to the markets
  • Build and strengthen good client relationship with new & existing suppliers
  • Engage with suppliers to understand their needs and make relevant recommendations
  • Proactively identify and pursue Opportunities
  • Identify market trends and provide market & competitor analysis to optimize business strategies
  • Work closely with Marketing and IT team to facilitate the onboarding of activities.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by Management.
Academic, Experience & Skill Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • Can communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese Language
  • Fast learner and willing to learn new things and think out of the box
  • Good Presentation Skills
  • Outgoing, pleasant personality and enjoy meeting with people
  • Highly discipline and professional in carrying out daily tasks
  • Able to travel
  • Possess own transport

Working Hours 9.00am to 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)

9.00am to 1.00pm (Saturday)
