We're looking for a person who is able to gather suppliers & vendors closer to our business by higher interactivity together with effective practices.

Job Descriptions:

Account Receivable cum Purchasing Assistant

  • Maintaining the billing system
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests (purchase requisition)
  • Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
  • Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems
  • Compare prices and negotiate, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
  • Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
  • Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts
  • Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered
  • Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors
  • Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be willing to work in Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ), Pulau Indah, Selangor
  • Required language(s): Mandarin & English; to be able to communicate with our suppliers & counterparts from China, Taiwan & Hong Kong
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Good understandings of IT; hardware & spareparts
  • Good experience in managing all Microsoft Office applications
  • Required skill(s): purchasing, procuring, negotiation
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
