Job Overview: National Instruments is looking for determined, customer-focused Partner Program Managers to join our team. This individual will be expected to have good sales acumen and the ability to communicate in an outgoing, poised and persuasive manner. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail orientated, good analytical skill, and hardworking while continuously developing their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Engagement with the sellers and partner account managers

Support sales in growing partner accounts and ensuring end-customer success

Provide insight and articulate best practices related to sales and marketing processes

Engagement with Sales

Work with sales operation in operational activities related to quote, price, configuration, deal registration, order management process, invoicing, and contract life-cycle management

Ensure that sales orders are successfully completed from quote to delivery and credited appropriately assigned for seller compensation

Program Management

Documentation of processes, workflows and escalation path is of high priority

Provide recommendations for program and process improvements and innovation regularly

Manage the day-to-day execution of company’s partner programs, from application to onboarding to partner growth

Partner Enablement

Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams across the company – Enablement, Channels, Sales, etc. – to gather requirements and feedback, which can then be incorporated into improvements

Evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with channel objectives; provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to partners

Communication

Respond to program questions, escalations, and exceptions, both internally and externally

Communicate frequently with NI Partners, NI Customers, NI Partner Sales Managers, NI Sellers, and NI internal stakeholders in support of partner marketing functions

Proactively provide guidance, incentive and engagement with partners via various communications methods, e.g. know how the partner wants to receive communications and where/how they are most motivated to receive and act on it

Qualifications

  • Engineering or Physics Degree qualified to at least second upper or CGPA above 3.2
  • Strong proven experience within a technical sales or customer facing engineering role
  • Ability to easily build relationships with your internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in business level English and Mandarin language in both written and verbal communication
  • Consulting abilities: influencing others, negotiation skills, problem solving, adaptive, genuine curiosity about business.
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience presenting to customers
  • Passion for learning about instrumentation technologies, sales knowledge and consultation abilities
