Responsibilities:
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
- Source and negotiate with vendors, sponsors, and suppliers
- Coordinate all operations
- Research venue options, coordinate appointments, and visits, to see venue space, and schedule events on the calendar
- Lead promotional activities for the event
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as may be assigned by the Company from time to time
Requirements:
- Proven experience as events manager
- Skilled in project management
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
- Experience with integrating social media into event planning and execution
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Excellent organizational skills
- A knack for problem-solving
- Customer-service orientation
- A team player with leadership skills
- BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
- At least 3-4 years of working experience in the related field
- Must be able to work within tight schedules and deadlines
- Malaysian only.
- Mandarin speaker is an advantage
