Job Responsibilities :
To coordinate troubleshoot activity for facility and machine breakdown and failure.
To ensure minimum production downtime.
To service and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure machine on best operation condition.
To carry out the factory machinery & premise facilities maintenance.
Ensure all machinery include forklift breakdown & causes are documented in history card.
Ensure implementation based on Maintenance Schedule accordingly as planned.
Assist management to ensure hazard free environment.
Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instruction as relevant and required by OSH system.
Implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assesment.
Verify all plant,machinery and equipment are adequate and safe for usage.
Ensure adequate personal protective e quipment used by all personnel at site.
Train and carry out fire drills and exercise to manage emergency situations.
Conduct investigation of all accidents and near misses.
To develop accurate reports and to maintain relevant safety records.
Liaise with contractor, client government authorities and other interested parties on safety and health issues.
Meet local statutory and regulatory requirement for any related DOE, BOMBA and etc.
To incharge for the material scrap include copper , aluminium ,steel and other related loading activity with external party.
Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.
Job Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) from DOSH or NIOSH or any institutions
For safety & Health Officer - Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in related field and registered Safety & Health Officer with valid license from DOSH or NIOSH.
GREEN BOOK holder is a must.
Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
Good knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health Administration
Good report preparation, communication, and interpersonal skills with internal and external parties.
Posses knowledge of Total Preventive Maintenance will be added as advantages.
