Job Description •Manage all aspects of facilities; EH&S and workplace services for South East Asia
  • Ensure site operates with no downtime
  • To comply with all regulatory requirements
  • To ensure employees are able to work in a safe and comfortable environment
  • To manage the facility budget and ensure costs do not exceed agreed budget
  • To reduce energy consumption by 3 per cent per year as a % of revenue
  • To effectively manage all aspects of the facility to maximise utilisation
The Senior Facilities Manager will be based in Prai, Penang. Manage all aspects of facilities; EH&S and workplace services for South East Asia.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
  • Controls inter- building communication installations and maintenance.
  • Supervises maintenance and alteration of all areas and equipment within the building(s), as well as layouts, arrangements, and housekeeping of all facilities.
  • May oversee cafeteria and/or food service operations.
  • Analyses and standardizes various facilities procedures to improve efficiencies.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Assigns duties for subordinates and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures.
  • A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the facilities unit.
  • Coordinates purchase orders within budget guidelines and files monthly reports to accounting, corporate, and/or facilities management
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
  • To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills- Office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation packages.
  • General knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
  • Some exposure to various facilities processes and technologies.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced/thorough knowledge of the function and Manufacturing business.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
  • Must have a good knowledge of employment law and company practices, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
