Customer Service Specialist (6 months contract)

Key Responsibilities 

  • Outbound calls to lapsed customers
  • Incentivise customers to use the Ria Money Transfer service
  • Outbound welcome call to new customers that have recently used the Ria Money Transfer for the first time
  • Extract and analyse customer data to find below:

o   Customers that stopped using our service

o   Create themes of potential reasons why they stopped

o   Create incentives to winback customer based on each theme

  • Be the problem solver for customers that had an issue with their last transaction:

o   Extract details when speaking to the customer to find out what happened

o   Contact the relevant department to find a solution

o   Inform the customer of the solution

  • Ask probing questions to gain a deep understanding of the customer’s concern and recommend a solution that meets the customer’s need
  • Act with the highest degree of professionalism to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Identify patterns that customers are complaining about, and provide possible solutions based on customer feedback that will improve Ria Money Transfer and increase future retention
  • Ad hoc requests from time to time related to customer retention


Skills & Experience:

  • Must understand and meet the demands of a customer focused environment
  • Efficient in browser-based and software-based applications
  • Ability to identify trends and patterns reported by customers that lead to low retention.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Articulate and professional with the ability to multi-task
  • Speaking a 2nd language is a bonus
  • 2+ years of experience in a service related field
