Job Description
  • Responsible to manage the accounting and financial management of the company by demonstrating in the best practices and accountability.
  • Responsible to examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Responsible to analyze business revenues, costs and expenses, financial commitments.
  • Responsible to develop and maintain good relationship with bankers in order to facilitate financial activities.
  • To assist the Group CFO & Executive Director in other areas like new project/new investment analysis which may be assigned from time to time.
  • Supervision of the accounting team in day-to-day accounting activities and to control, maintain and review overall accounting and financing functions.
  • Review and evaluate monthly financial report for the whole group of companies include monthly budget variance report.
  • Supervise and manage group financial consolidation reports
  • Monitoring current cash flow position and to ensure efficient use of funds.
  • To review the overall report of collection from customers and from related companies.
  • Review existing banking facilities (Trade Line/Term loan & HP) and to apply new/additional banking facilities by liaising with the existing/new bankers and to provide accurate and quality financial information to the banker and to ensure all matters arise will be resolved.
  • Ensure smooth running of the accounting software system.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
  • To prepare current year tax computation for tax estimation and liaise with the tax agent on all matters related to company's tax position.
  • Provide on job training to all department staffs
  • To prepare and review monthly forecast cash flow report and report to Group CFO & Executive
  • Prepare yearly budget by forecast the financial position for the group of companies and submit to Group CFO & Executive Director approval.
  • To analyze and to review the current internal control system and to identify weaknesses in order for continue improvement by implementing the new control system when necessary.
  • To implement a budgetary control system to ensure all expenses are managed in a responsible manner in order to meet the objective of cost saving.
  • Oversee HR, Purchasing, Import-Export, Administration, Sales Coordination, inventory & logistic and outlet management. Core function is to ensure the SOP and internal control are being implemented and progress well. From time to time, review the flow systems and continual improve accordingly.
  • To lead accounts department in achieving monthly closing of management account.
  • Undertake any other duties related to accounts and finance that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Ad-hoc task assign by superior/Management.
Job Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent;
  • At least 7 years of working experience in the related field
  • Able to work independently, efficiently and strong sense of urgency;
  • Ability to multi-task, meet critical deadlines and perform under pressure;
  • Possess a high level of Integrity and Leadership qualities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written);
