Lead and plan HRBP functions that encompassing excellent end to end HR services to achieve business objectives and ensure optimum cost utilization of resources and excellent delivery of HR services in line with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and in compliance of Leading Manufacturing / Operations Company PETRONAS Chemicals’ policy and guidelines.

MAIN TASKS

Develop, implement and monitor the manpower plan & budget through syndication with Line Departments to ensure optimum short and long term manpower requirements.

Lead, plan & execute the staff mobility plan through consultation with Line Departments to ensure placement of suitable staff at the right time and right position.

Plan, monitor and manage team to perform end to end recruitment process timely and effectively to meet business manpower requirement; proactively anticipate issues, hence recommend and implement risk assessment and corrective measure to safeguard the Company’s interest.

Facilitate and Manage the development and implementation of the organization structure and job management for respective departments.

Plan and manage the implementation of remuneration processes and services. Provide constructive advice and support to the stakeholders.

Manage and facilitate Performance Management with Line Department in order to achieve superior performance driven culture.

Lead and facilitate the process of identifying critical positions by collaborating with Line Managers in identifying the key positions to ensure business sustainability.

Prepare and propose talent profile for career progression and development plans to ensure succession planning is executed effectively by matching talents to the critical positions.

Manage end to end delegation process to ensure seamless onboarding of delegates.

Perform Talent Development Committee 1 secretariat function by facilitating the meetings and execution of TDC1’s decisions through consultation with Line Department to ensure accurate and effective deliberations and resolutions of People Management matters (staff appointments, promotion, performance management, staff separation, succession planning, structure and job management, etc).

Verify and approve requests within assigned LOA; manage effective empowerment exercise.

Adopt and instil the culture of Trust, Ownership, Positive Attitude and One Team (TOP Team) to achieve high performance workforce and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in HRM / Business / Admin or equivalent from a recognized university

Minimum 6 years working experience with sound leadership capability

Strong and capable in both strategic and operational thinking, analytical & problem solving skill

Strong interpersonal skill to collaborate, connect and garner team unity

Good command of written and spoken English / Bahasa Malaysia with excellent presentation skill

Effective communication skills to ensure successful engagement with key stakeholders of various levels
